Meet Nicolette Piaubert
I am Nicolette Piaubert, a Family Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Professor, and Founder of Gab-Nic Excelsior Nursing Tutoring Center. I was recently honored as Pacific Union College’s 2024–2025 Educator of the Year, and I am currently a doctoral student researching student success and resilience. My work has always centered on one goal: helping others move forward in their academic journey and in their lives as a whole.
As a Nursing Professor and Educator of the Year, I’ve always been passionate about helping people learn and grow. Now I apply that same teaching approach to helping individuals understand how to build additional income streams and create more flexibility in their lives.
For a long time, I followed what I thought was the “right” path. I earned the degrees, built my career, and stayed constantly busy. On the surface, it looked like I had everything together. But in reality, I was exhausted, carrying debt, and living paycheck to paycheck.
Even with all my effort, I couldn’t fully experience the stability and freedom I expected from my profession. I was working harder and harder, yet only managing to stay afloat rather than truly progress.
That season of my life made me realize something many professionals quietly experience: effort alone does not always lead to financial or personal freedom.
I’ve personally used this to create additional income outside of my nursing career—and that’s how I know it’s possible.
I am not teaching theory. I am sharing what I’ve personally learned and applied.
